Ken Kaplan, Esq.
Kenneth M. Kaplan, Esq., is the owner of the Law Offices of Kaplan & Kaplan, P.C., a family-founded firm in North Haledon, New Jersey. With 30 years of experience since his 1996 admission, he focuses his practice on representing injured workers and accident victims throughout the state — claimants and plaintiffs only. Ken handles workers compensation petitions and motions, contested medical care, temporary and permanent disability issues, third-party injury claims connected to work accidents, Social Security Disability applications and appeals, and wrongful-death matters arising from fatal job injuries. He is known for direct communication, careful deadline control, and courtroom preparation that treats adjuster narratives as claims to be tested, not accepted. Day-to-day work includes reviewing authorized treatment denials, preparing motions for medical and temporary benefits, developing permanency records after MMI, coordinating SSDI onset narratives with open Division files, and counseling families after workplace deaths about dependency benefits versus civil third-party claims. Ken earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut in 1992 and his law degree from Nova Southeastern University in 1996. That same year, he was admitted to practice in New Jersey and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
